Photographic Safaris

Photographic safaris are an evolution of the standard safari offering driven mainly by the accessibility of camera gear and the advent of digital wildlife photography. On a photo safari, you can expect fewer people in a safari vehicle. You will normally be accompanied by a wildlife photographer who will help develop your wildlife photography skills and photographic knowledge.

• Wildebeest Migration Herds: Photograph the vast wildebeest herds in Serengeti in full migration between July and October, creating stunning visual compositions.
  
• Calf Birth: Capture the fragile beauty of newborn calves in their first days of life between January and March.
• Predators in Action: Witness and photograph the great predators in action, from majestic lions to agile cheetahs.
• Majestic Elephants: Photograph the impressive elephants of Tarangire in their natural environment.
• Unique Wildlife: Witness and photograph the unique wildlife of Lake Manyara, including baboons, giraffes, and the famous tree-climbing lions.
• Unique Ecosystem: Explore and photograph the unique ecosystem of the Ngorongoro Crater, a volcanic caldera teeming with diverse wildlife.
• Flamingo Colonies: Capture the beauty of flamingo colonies inhabiting the shores of Lake Natron, providing vibrant and colorful images.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Welcome and reception upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Our dedicated team will be waiting for you to ensure a smooth and comfortable arrival. After the warm welcome, we proceed to your hotel, providing a welcoming environment for a well-deserved and relaxing rest. Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will set off on an exciting journey during a Photo Safari in Tarangire. This sanctuary is widely recognized for being home to a magnificent population of African elephants, majestic predators, and the iconic Baobab trees, providing a unique experience for photography enthusiasts. Feel the thrill of a day full of wilderness discoveries, capturing spectacular images of wildlife and the lush landscape. At sunset, we head back to the comfort of your lodge to enjoy an excellent dinner and a peaceful evening immersed in the pure serenity of the African savannah.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, we start our photographic journey to Lake Manyara National Park. This remarkable place is famous for its unique diversity of wildlife, offering exclusive opportunities to capture extraordinary moments. Highlights include the world's largest concentration of baboons and the famous tree-climbing lions, providing unique scenes for your photographs. Explore the diverse habitats, from acacia forests to towering baobab cliffs, and take advantage of the breathtaking views to create memorable visual compositions on your photographic journey At sunset, we head back to your lodge for a great dinner and rest after a day filled with natural wonders.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti

After an early breakfast, we embark on an extraordinary journey towards the Ngorongoro Crater, the true "Eighth Natural Wonder of the World" as it has been named. We will descend more than 600 meters to admire this spectacular crater, a rich wildlife sanctuary sustained by water and food sources all year round. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a variety of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, rhino, and the majestic African elephant. We'll be sure to explore picturesque Lake Magadi, home to flamingos, hippos, and a variety of water birds. Get ready to record extraordinary moments in this stunning natural setting.

In the afternoon, we continue our journey towards the mythical Serengeti National Park. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of Wild Africa - the Serengeti - characterized by its endless plains that stretch as far as the eye can see. At the end of the day, we'll head back to your lodge for dinner and a rest.

Day 5 - 6: Serengeti National Park

Awaken to the magnificence of the Serengeti over these two days, where the sounds of nature welcome your awakening. After an energizing breakfast, the vastness of the savannah welcomes you to explore the richness of its wildlife. This legendary park, the protagonist of award-winning films and documentaries, is globally famous for its extraordinary population of large predators and exuberant wildlife. Every moment here is an adventure; at dusk, the true essence of the Serengeti's name, the 'Endless Plain', reveals itself. These days promise to be a memorable journey of unique photographs. At nightfall, we head back to your lodge for a great dinner and a quiet evening, immersed in the unique serenity that only the Serengeti offers.

Day 7: Serengeti - Lake Natron

After breakfast, we will set off for the fascinating Lake Natron, known for its vibrant colors ranging from orange to fuchsia, this is a particularly captivating destination for photography enthusiasts, as it offers a unique experience. The lake is the scene of a magnificent spectacle, when the largest flock of flamingos in East Africa gathers to breed in this area, making the landscape breathtaking. The lake, fed by mineral-rich springs, is the only place in the region where flamingos breed, thanks to its alkaline nature, which protects the eggs from various predators. At the end of the day, we'll head back to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 8: Lake Natron - Arusha

After breakfast, we will continue exploring this region in the direction of Arusha. Lake Natron is also famous for its alkaline waters that turn animals into stone. The alkalinity comes from the sodium carbonate of the surrounding hills and the deposits of this mineral act as preservatives, turning some animals literally into statues, a phenomenon that leads many curious people to visit this place. Let your camera record the last chapter of this incredible visual narrative, where every click is a page of immortal memories in the album of your African adventure. In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Arusha for a relaxing dinner full of memories and unique photographs of the landscapes and wildlife of this unforgettable country.
